CART means no. of days required for the repair of the damaged vehicle as assessed and recommended by the independent loss adjuster and shall exclude any delays, howsoever and/or by whomsoever caused, which may occur before and/or after the actual repair.

Right now, they are paying me compensation for 3 days instead of 6 days as claimed. So, since they are smart enough to play with this, then I will be smart too.

Let’s recalculate everything. Repair of a car should include the following procedure:

1. Ordering of parts.
2. Receiving of parts.
3. Removal of crashed parts.
4. Respraying the bumper and it must follow the exact color.
5. Attaching the bumper.
6. Knocking back the affected sides.
7. Spraying the car sides.
8. Letting it dry.

Why am I including ordering and receiving of parts? Because when you want to attach a new parts, you have to order it, and it will take time to be produced and delivered to the Service Center. So, it took around 3 weeks to complete this procedure. (21 days)

Then, in order to attach the new parts, they have to remove the crashed parts. Besides, they have to re-spray the bumper before that because it does not come pre-sprayed. Next would be following procedure 5 to 8.

This procedure include Saturdays and Sundays and should not be considered as a delay as it is a holiday for Service Center for the repair, unless the “insurance adjuster” thinks that a human should work around the clock, and no rest, yeah.

This sum up to 27 days. So, 27 days or 6 days as I proposed?

Just in case if we are not having the same idea on the word ‘faker’. Faker here means ‘having a false or misleading appearance, fraudulent.’

Who is a faker?

Basically it can be anyone. A teacher, your BFFs, anyone walking on the street, basically anyone.

Let’s take one simple example: There is a (job title) who doesn’t like me and keep on poking on my mistakes, even minor ones. Better still, she dare to say, “you will fail your (subject name) paper in exam.” She is rude, especially to me and some other not so shining students. However when it comes to meeting parents, she is pathetically “angelic”. Yes, I am using pathetic because her acting skills sucks. Even my mum could detect that she is pretending.

Note: This is just a real life example. If you feel that I am talking about
you, then most probably that person is you.

Dealing with fakers

One simple advice when dealing with fakers are by not feeding them. Yes, it’s the same thing as “Don’t feed the troll”. By doing that, you’re not only saving yourself a breath, it might help to prolong your life as well as promote healthy living. This is not exaggerated but a true fact.

I admit I am a faker. What should I do?

Just be yourself. Hiding your true self is not going to help. If you are hiding your imperfection, weakness… Perhaps you might wanna read my article: Imperfection.

Bringing out the story

I was chatting with my ‘darling’ and she told me that she have a sweaty palm as well as a freezing cold palm. While she was talking, I held her hands tightly.

No matter how people hates your sweaty palm, I will still love it. This little imperfection could make me remember you, indirectly hinting me that I am holding your hands, even if I am blindfolded. The feeling is mutual. I don’t see it as imperfection but rather unique side of you.

At the end of the day, those small little imperfection in your love ones are the ones that you will value.

TV Commercial entitled Funeral

I don’t know if you watched this before, but it clearly demonstrates the situation.

This commercial was directed by a local filmmaker, the late Yasmin Ahmad who passed away last year July 25. It is going to be 1 year since she left us.

Why did you abandon your blog?

I was too busy back then. I was working and studying which total up my 7 days a week, which means no time for me time at all. So, I don’t really have the time. Gomen ne…

Now, I have some little spare time to blog, maybe 10 ~ 20 minutes a week.

Damage has been done

While I must agree that I disappoint many netizens by not updating my blog, both tech blog and this personal blog, but do not worry as I’ll try to allocate some time for blogging.
