    PostHeaderIcon Improvised

I nearly ruined my first day at SEGi, thanks to the RapidKL bus. Perhaps I am at fault as well for not planning my journey properly. But cannot blame myself as well because this is the first time I take bus to college.

I’d listed all possible methods to go to college and back home.

    Let’s see the route.

    1. Home –[Father Fetch or U60]–> Town –[Putra LRT]–> Kelana Jaya –[U89]–> Kota Damansara. (This is one hell of a ride)

    2. Home –[Father Fetch or U60]–> Town –[U88]–> Kota Damansara. (Haven’t test yet)

    3. Home –[Father Fetch or U60]–> Kota Raya –[Metro 99]–> Kota Damansara. (Metro 99 is painfully slow.)

    4. Home –[Father Fetch or U60]–> Mid Valley –[U88]–> Kota Damansara. (Same as #2 but faster when want to go home)

    5. Home –[Father Fetch or U60]–> Mid Valley –[Metro 99]–> Kota Damansara. (Same as #3 but faster when want to go home)

    6. Home –[U60 or U69]–> IOI Mall –[U43]–> Kelana Jaya or 1 Utama –[U89 or U88 when going back]–> Kota Damansara. (Fastest currently)

    How cool is that?

    Lazy to draw the diagram…

    PostHeaderIcon First Day at SEGi

What a day… I tried to spare some of my energy to blog about my first day at SEGi University College, but I was too tired to do so. Want to know why?

I woke up at 5.45am and left the house at 6.30am. Reach town at 7.00am and had my breakfast in just 10 minutes. Rushed to Pasar Seni Putra LRT at 7.20am and reached Kelana Jaya at 7.45am (Thank God because the train arrived just in time). I was lucky to be early at Kelana Jaya since the orientation day starts at 9.30am. So, I must wait for U89 to reach Kelana Jaya in order for me to go to SEGi UC.

I waited for 30 minutes, the time is pointing at 8.15am. What the heck? There is still no sign of the bus. Sigh… Too bad there are no place/bench to sit and I am forced to stand. 8.45am / 1 hour past, I am still waiting for the bus. My mind starts to go haywire and I wanted to take a cab. Guess what the cab said? “SEGi kah? RM 20 lah…” Hey, you know what, I could sue you for not using the meter, Bloody @$$hole!

    PostHeaderIcon Going to SEGi Tomorrow

My class starts tomorrow. It would be for the BSc (Hons) Applied Business Computing. My very first degree course.

Sorta miss my workplace where there are so many things that I can learn because it’s totally hands on and not theory. Therefore, I could remember better.

    Wonder what will happen tomorrow.

But before that, I will upload some photos about my workplace most probably tomorrow. I had no choice but to reformat my computer before I blog again…

PostHeaderIcon Speedtest.Net Accuracy for Wireless Broadband

    Speed4

Today’s topic is about Speedtest.Net. Ever heard of it?
Speedtest.Net is a web based network diagnostic tool to test the performance of your internet connection. However, how good is this tool?

Recently, it came into my attention that Speedtest.Net results are totally unreliable for wireless broadband. Why?

When I did a speedtest using P1 Wimax, my results are as follow:
